Festival Disclaimers
Aka: ‘solving problems 101’
1- Last year we celebrated the festival’s 13th annual presentation and it was a huge success (especially cause of the connection between 13 and 39) and everyone commented on the fullness of the festival and how hard it might be to outdo something of that stature come 2024.
In November of 2023, upon double checking the history of the 39 Days of July, it was discovered that last year was actually our 12th event by that name and so a dilemma became apparent but a quick decision was made to hold the 12th Annual 39 Days of July actually in 2024. This appears to supply a solution. We can slip the 12th in between the 11th and the 13th and thereby programming expectations will not be as stressful on the artistic director.
There you go, a couple of problems solved
So if you hear reference to this being our 12th when last year was our 13th, play along with us please ...(besides 1 + 2 is 3 and 3 with 39 go together magically just as well)
2- It has come to our attention more than once over the years that our festival has been blamed for the chores such as laundry, house cleaning, yard work and such to not be accomplished as they should be. Something about people spending too much time in the park soaking up the 8 + hours a day of great entertainment presented.
Solution: Get up earlier to do that work
